Balochistan Also Announces Summer Vacations After Punjab and Sindh Schools Breaks

Balochistan Joins Punjab and Sindh in Announcing Summer Vacations

Following Punjab and Sindh, the Balochistan government has also officially announced summer vacations for all public and private educational institutions across the province due to rising temperatures and ongoing heatwave conditions.

The decision brings uniform school closures across major provinces as the country continues to experience an intense summer spell.

Vacation Schedule Announced

According to the official notification, schools and colleges in Balochistan’s summer zone will remain closed from May 23, 2026, to July 31, 2026.

The directive applies to both government and private educational institutions, ensuring that all academic activities remain suspended during the peak summer period.

Reason Behind the Decision

Education authorities said the move was taken to protect students and staff from extreme heat conditions that are expected to intensify in the coming weeks. Rising temperatures across the country have already prompted similar decisions in Punjab and Sindh.

Officials have also instructed school administrations to complete all administrative work before the holidays begin.

Pakistan-Wide Summer Break Trend

With this announcement, all four provinces are now following similar vacation schedules as part of seasonal adjustments to cope with extreme weather patterns. Punjab has already announced a long break from May 22, while Sindh’s holidays will start from June 1.

Short Summary:

After Punjab and Sindh, the Balochistan government has also announced summer vacations for schools from May 23 to July 31, 2026. The decision has been taken due to rising temperatures and heatwave conditions across the country.
